2020 annual report

As the City will soon be re-emerging again from lockdown our 2020 annual report from the Ward of Cheap team gives an update on our work as elected representatives over the last 12 months, and how we are helping to accelerate the City’s recovery and develop a blueprint for the Square Mile to remain internationally competitive and locally vibrant.

Before Christmas we asked you to share your thoughts about what our priorities should be to support the City post Covid19. We received over 30 responses from residents, SMEs and City workers.

Priorities for the City of London as indicated by the respondents were:

  1. Air quality and action to tackle climate change
  2. Be an international ambassador and promote the City
  3. Invest in culture
  4. Support social mobility and diversity
