When we were elected as representatives for the Ward of Cheap we promised to keep everyone informed of our work. Despite the challenges of Covid19 over the last 24 months we’ve kept this promise. Together with we stayed in touch with City workers and residents, through our websited, regular updates, face to face and virtual meetings and our newsletters.

Our 2021 annual report gives an overview of our work as a team over the last 12 months, showing how we are helping to accelerate the City’s recovery making sure that the Square Mile remains internationally competitive and locally vibrant.

In March this year local elections will take place across the City of London to elect Common Councillors for a term of 3 years. Aldermen are elected in a seperate election cycle.

This is an important moment for City workers and residents to help shape the future direction of the City.

As Common Councillors Alastair, Nick and Tijs are committed to continue our work to invest in the City – keeping the Square Mile a vibrant, diverse and a safe place to live, work and visit.

This is why we will be standing for re-election together as a team to represent the Ward of Cheap.
