Once a medieval trading market, Cheapside has transformed into a first class retail location. This retail revolution represents a major business opportunity, anchored by two major retail hubs – One New Change and Royal Exchange.
The City of London Corporation in partnership with the Cheapside Business Alliance (CBA) have developed a Business Alliance Proposal which sets out how the business community will work together on a number of projects. Together with my fellow Councillors and Alderman I actively support the CBA as a way to continue to invest in the Cheap and keep it a vibrant and attractive place for City workers, businesses, visitors and residents.
